If you select the afternoon tours, you will have a choice of ONE of the following options:
Tour A | Fort Larned National Historic Site
Explore this fully restored U.S. Army fort, originally established in 1859 to protect travelers on the Santa Fe Trail. Learn about its role during the Civil War and Indian Wars, and walk through original sandstone buildings that housed soldiers, officers, and support staff in one of the most strategic military posts on the Plains.
Tour B | Santa Fe Trail Center Museum & Research Library
Discover a rich collection of trail-era artifacts, pioneer tools, Native American trade goods, vintage vehicles, and more. Tour the archives that preserve over 700 feet of Pawnee County records, 7,000 historic photographs, and rare documents offering insight into early Kansas life.
You will return to the Great Bend Events Center at the conclusion of the tour.

Time: 12:45 pm - 4:00 pm (buses for both tours board at the Great Bend Events Center at 12:45 pm)
Cost: $100 (price includes choice of a full day of tours OR 1/2 day tours and 1/2 day workshop plus lunch)
Capacity: Both tours are limited to 50 participants, and will be filled first come, first served.
