You will have an opportunity to inform us of dietary restrictions during the registration process; we will make every effort to accommodate those restrictions.  This is a tentative meal plan and is subject to change.

Wednesday, November 19:

Coffee, water, and tea provided throughout the day

Breakfast: 

  • On your own. The Best Western Angus Inn and the Holiday Inn Express both include breakfast in the room price.  You can also check out Explore Great Bend for delicious options!

Workshop/Tour Lunch catered by Wheatland Café:  If you have signed up for a workshop or tour, your lunch is included.  Otherwise check out Explore Great Bend for delicious options!

Dinner:

  • The traveling reception buses head out at 5:15 pm and will return to the Great Bend Events Center about 9:00 pm. The Traveling Reception is generously provided by the Local Arrangements Committee and our host stops. Our stops will offer heavy hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and drinks but may not be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions; please plan accordingly. 
    • Barton County Historical Society - 5:30-6:15 pm: appetizers and drinks
    • Kansas Oil & Gas Museum - 6:25-7:10 pm: hors d'oeuvres and drinks
    • Shafer Art Gallery - 7:20-9:00 pm: full dinner

 

Thursday, November 20:

  • Taco bar with chicken and toppings
  • Rice

Reception:

  • Bar - Cash or Card

Annual Dinner catered by Wheatland Café:

  • Chicken Fried Steak
  • Green Beans with minced onion
  • Mashed potatoes, gravy on side
  • Salad
  • Rolls
  • Cheesecake with berry toppings
  • Bar - Cash or Card
  • Tea, water
  • ** Baked chicken for those with gluten allergy and cannot eat beef.

 

Friday, November 21:

  • Cavatini pasta with meat sauce, cheese & pepperoni

If you would like to purchase a meal for a guest, they may be purchased onsite subject to availability. Lunches are $25/ticket, and the Annual Dinner is $45/ticket.
