BRAINY (BRinging Arts INtegration to Youth) is an integrated arts project at the University Center for the Arts (UCA) at Colorado State University (CSU) located in Fort Collins, Colorado. The project, which began as a pilot in the 2009-2010 academic year, is now in its fifteenth programming year. BRAINY brings 4th grade students from area Title-1 designated elementary schools to the UCA for a full day of interactive arts experiences in four arts disciplines practiced at the center – music, theatre, dance and art – taught by CSU students, supervised by faculty.

This year's symposium examines how legal and museum professionals work to navigate the complex issues found in the field of art law. The program will discuss restitution and repatriation, trade of cultural property and the ethical stewardship of objects in museums. The symposium will host academics, legal scholars and museum professionals for discussions rooted in the public policy considerations of art law issues.

The Office of Rural Prosperity: Rural Murals - This grant helps communities with fewer than 10,000 residents create murals and public art projects to beautify public gathering spaces and serve as new tourist attractions. Applications open February 15th. You will be able find more information here.
Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission (KCAIC) - Grant applications are due February 23rd for the following: General Operating Support, Arts Everywhere, Public Art & Murals, and Visiting Artists.
Attraction Development Grant (ADGP) - Applications for the Kansas Tourism Attraction Development Grant are now open and are due March 31st. You can view the guidelines and information here.
Historic Economic Asset Lifeline (HEAL) - Applications for the Emergency HEAL Grants, which are intended to bring rural downtown buildings back from likely demolition or collapse, are due June 3rd.
