Set the Tables! First impressions are a must! We need your help ‘Setting the Tables’ for a spectacular Banquet and Benefit! Here’s what you can do:
Your museum chooses a theme – maybe an exhibit or event, maybe a holiday or favorite food or drink – to showcase by putting together a table topper and place settings. As a host, be sure to include 8 small individual gifts for guests sitting at your table, in addition to a larger centerpiece. Bring the materials to the conference and set up your table before the Banquet. KMA will sell seat tickets for the privilege of sitting at one of the specially decorated tables, and the centerpiece will be raffled. You will be providing an elegant and/or fun atmosphere for the Banquet and Benefit Auction table guests, showing off your creative skills, and helping support KMA!
Interested in providing a ‘Set the Tables’ centerpiece and place settings at the Banquet or have questions? Please contact Marla Day at firstname.lastname@example.org
Take a Seat! Purchase a seat at one of the decorated tables for a $10 donation per person at the Banquet. With your Take a Seat! ticket, you enjoy a table favor provided by the table host and you are contributing to the KMA Scholarship Fund. Any KMA individual member can apply for a scholarship! Seating is limited to 8 per table and the number of tables for ‘Set the Tables’ is limited.
I Want That! Purchase one ticket (or many!) for the ‘Set the Tables’ centerpiece raffle that will be held at the conclusion of the Banquet. Tickets are $10 each.
Tickets for Take a Seat! and I Want That! are sold before the Banquet; see Marla Day at the conference.
Gotta Have It! Be sure to bring items for the Annual KMA Auction. The silent and live auction proceeds benefit KMA scholarships so look in your closets, attics, basements, or garages for unique items that others would love to have. Popular items in the past have included handmade scarves and jewelry, books, local foods, themed baskets, or getaways to your town – often your CVB can help you put one together!
