Medical Equipment Available to Interested Museums
The Boot Hill Museum in Dodge City has a variety of medical equipment which does not fit their mission and they would like to find an appropriate museum that could use these items.
The items were donated in the late 1970s/early 1980s and were never cataloged or displayed. Just some of the items include:
- X-ray fluoroscopes
- respirator
- lights for an operating room
- examining table
- dental equipment
- short wave diathermy
- static electricity generator
- electro cauterizing equipment
- gamma phone
- operating table
Any interested institutions should contact Boot Hill Museum at 620.227.8188 and ask to speak with Kathie Bell, Curator of Collections and Education; Karen Pankratz, Curator of Exhibits and Interpretation; or Lara Brehm, Director.
