Major interpretive text now available in Chinese
The textbook Interpretation of Cultural and Natural Resources by NAI members Doug Knudson, Ted Cable, and Larry Beck has been translated into Chinese and published in the People’s Republic of China. The translation was done by NAI member Dr. Dongying Wei at Beijing Normal University. Dr. Wei reports that this text will be used in interpretation classes at Beijing Normal University as well as at other Chinese universities and by frontline interpreters in China. The authors are grateful for the cooperation of Venture Publishing and its Chinese counterpart in facilitating this collaboration and of course for the translation work of Dr. Wei.
