2016 Request for KMA Conference Session Proposals
Kansas Museums Association
Bridging Our Past, Present and Future – 2016 Annual Conference
Leavenworth, KS – November 2-4, 2016
Call for Proposals
Deadline June 1, 2016
This year the Kansas Museums Association provides a rare opportunity to its members with our educational annual conference about important ideas and issues in museum work, hosted on the military post of historic Fort Leavenworth. Be a meaningful part of this historic conference by submitting your ideas for educational sessions. We need your involvement to make this the best KMA conference yet!
We are looking for your ideas that explore the successes, challenges and opportunities available through your work at Kansas museums. Of particular interest are session topics about educational and programming ideas, collaboration, audience development, collections care, exhibits, administration and board engagement, volunteer management and any other topic related to the diverse and dynamic work of museums.
What cool new thing have you tried this year that was a resounding success or a lesson in what NOT to do next time? What local, regional or national issue in the museum field needs to be discussed, debated, challenged or explored with a roundtable? You supply the idea and the KMA Program Committee will help you round out the speakers. Make this your best educational experience of the year and be a part of the 2016 KMA Annual Conference.
